Step-by-Step Logo Process
1. client alignment
Waypoint Designs discovers the personal motivation or corporate goals, usage, purpose, industry, uniqueness, target market, client attributes and timing before starting to design a logo. Afterwards clients are defined as Guardians, Artisans, Idealists or Rationalists to focus and characterize the brand .
2. color selection
Colors reflect strength, clarity, power, courage, purpose, healthy lifestyle, feeling of home, wisdom, luxury, productivity, authority, adventure, harmony, loyalty, safety and trust. So, Waypoint Designs will select the most impactful logo color to define and individualize you or your company's brand.
3. IMAGE Creation
The logo is the first impression that a prospective customer has of you or your firm. Shapes (e.g., circle, square, triangle, arrow) have different meanings, such as, strength, human spirit, creativity, and new horizons, so stand-alone logos must reflect your brand and be carefully selected.
4. Initial design & visualization
More than one design can achieve a common goal, but the right one can create a connection with potential clients. Therefore, Waypoint Designs can create multiple iterations with similar impressions so our clients have choice. However, whether one or four iterations are acquired, the optimal design will be created to achieve a connection with your potential client.
5. Final Selection (1-4) and Delivery
Once the final logo is selected, Waypoint Designs will allow as many changes as is necessary to reach the most impactful and high-quality branded logo. The logo is delivered in multiple formats (e.g., EPS/PDF, JPG, PNG, TIF). If during the interview, a name or branding statement has yet to be defined, these items will be delivered in tandem with the logo design to ensure brand continuity.
